Everything you need to know about escaping your fate

Sometimes, you just want to get away...

I know the feeling.

They make you go to school but don't teach you stuff you need and want to know. There are mean kids they won't do anything about.

The government argues all the time, sends us to war, and borrows money that we'll have to repay. The whole world is in chaos, governed by tyrants. It's like a dystopian novel or something. I mean, have you been to high school lately? If you have an English teacher like mine, you don't need google to know what a tyrant is.

If you're like me, your fate is sealed and you wonder, where can I go?

I have a pretty good idea, and I'll tell you about it.

But a word of caution:

Be careful what you wish for. It just might happen.

This is where my Dad works, on Mount Graham, Arizona. It's called the LBT for Large Binocular Telescope Observatory. It looks like a couple of eyes, doesn't it? It's cool because they can find all kinds of stuff in space. My Dad's an astrobiologist, looking for signs of life.

During the viewing season, he basically lives up there. Sometimes my best friend Dianne and I stay with him (when there's room), or else we stay in my family's cabin.

Edwards AFB 1957

Dad says he's an astrobiologist, not a UFO-ist. He doesn't believe in UFOs, but he does believe in life on other planets. He told me once he doesn't just believe: he knows. I asked him how and he said he'd tell me once I've learned to keep a secret.

Like I'm going to tell anyone my Dad's crazy.

The Equalization

I love this book!

My parents are all freaked out about the Equalization, but I think it's a good idea. Why shouldn't everyone be equal? Doesn't it say that in the Declaration of Independence, as well as the Declaration of Interdependence? They should just pass the Equalization Amendment and get this over with.

Still, I see their point. Someone has to be The First Equal, and it's probably going to be one of these guys.

Mitt Romney and Barack Obama want to be President. They both say they want everyone to be rich. They both support the Equalization Amendment. So what are they arguing about?

All these politicians talk about Winning the Future, but as far as I'm concerned, they're just making everything worse.

If you have always wanted to ask me something, now is the time to go for it!
